I wish you the very best on this milestone birthday. I remember, with great fondness, my “year of discovery” in working with you at Ithaca College 1980-81. What a great experience it was to have you as my teacher and to discover the challenges and joys of Charlier, Bitsch, and Tomasi! That year set the course for what would become the rest of my professional life. It was your faith in my abilities that really made a huge difference in going forward. I’m so thankful that we were able to keep our relationship going in Texas during my doctoral studies.
