Happy 80th Birthday Jim, from Ed and Pina Swenson in Trumansburg

Dear Jim,
We think of you often and hope all is well. I have never forgotten that I owed my job at Ithaca College to your kind recommendation. I also fondly remember our performances together and the opportunity to sing at family weddings. As a new a faculty member at Ithaca I was particularly grateful for your assistance, many kindnesses, and the numerous parties at your house where we met some of the other faculty for the first time. Ithaca College’s School of Music was never quite the same after you left.
