I guess we go back to when you used to sing in the choir at St.Luke’s Lutheran church. We remember the beautiful trumpet solo you played at our son David’s wedding there. Thanks for introducing me to Rusty Nails the night we went to see Chuck Mangione play at the Venetian Room in Dallas! I also was so honored that you came down to Strictly Tabu to see the fledgling TI Jazz Band play. Actually, I was a little nervous playing before the head of the SMU Music Dept.! I enjoyed pinch hitting for Ruth in her home travel office when you guys traveled I probably should have retired from playing the trombone several years ago, but they still put up with me in the Jeffco Brass and Jeffco Community Band here in Colorado, and the bone player next to me is in his 80’s ! Hope you can stop by and see us when you travel to Colorado to see your daughter, Jim.
