You may recall I took your place at Ithaca College in 1981, and let me say how grateful I am that you left the trumpets in such excellent shape!
We also played together a time to two in the Victoria Bach Festival when you were in San Antonio, and again as a trio for a special celebration concert back at Ithaca College. (We still have in one of our showcases, the wonderful cornet Craig McHenry gave to you.)
Congratulations on a wonderful career, Jim, both at IC and beyond.
